Tenacious beat off competition from performers from all over the north to take home the top prize in their first ever competition (Foresters Have Talent). The Huddersfield group, took part in the Foresters Have Talent contest, which is run by Foresters, an international financial services group. The teenagers joined dancers, singers and comedians from all over the north competing before a panel of judges at the event in Rotherham. The group scooped the top prize of £500 after impressing with their original hip hop routine, which they performed to their own mixed music backing track. In October 2010 They performed with winners from other heats at the company’s annual ball The Holiday Inn, Stratford Upon Avon.
