Therese Dejean (born Therese Yékawé 28 December 1946) was the first female Magistrate in the Central African Republic, CAR. She is a founding member of the African Federation of Women Jurist founded in 1978. Dejean was a strong proponent of the parity law in CAR and encouraged women to get educated to help them achieve parity. Her husband, Maurice Dejean, was a Central African Republic foreign affairs minister and an ambassador to Israel.
