Thomas Owen (15 September 1840-10 July 1898) was a British Liberal politician who represented Launceston, Cornwall in the House of Commons from 1892 until his death in 1898. He was the second son of the marriage of his father Owen Owen (c.1816-1872) to Susan nee Jones, who died in 1843. His father`s second marriage (in December 1846) was to Esther Elizabeth Evans (1821-1855). One of the children of that second marriage was Owen Owen, who built up a substantial drapery enterprise in Liverpool.
