Todd-1 describes on his FB page how he met Jada at the premiere of the movie "Class Act" which he was covering for MTV. He was "instantly attracted" to her, as she was his "type 100%." They began speaking on the phone, he sent her roses "to show my interest" and they connected up next time he was in LA. Jada suggested their date be at a Thai restaurant. They had a great time but she could see he didn't like the food, so she paid the bill. Afterwards they went back to her house: "She didn’t live in an apt. She had a house. And it was fly. This was the best date ever.
Until... she opens the door and her dog comes running up to greet us. She had a black chow... named SHAKUR. The dog came to her and she was like “hey Shakur!”
I immediately was like ugh. So I said “yo! What’s your dogs name?”
She was like “Shakur”.
I was like “you know Tupac?”
She was like “yes! You know him?” My heart sank. My visions of marriage came crumbling down. Grand opening / Grand closing. I could hear words coming out of her mouth about how she had known him forever and they went to school together but to be honest it was just noise at that point. Shakur looked at me with a sly grin and I remember uttering “damn you Pac” to myself as I made my exit."
