I really wish in real life, they're a couple....But they have their own families now.

Back in the days many were certain they had an emotional affair (and more) and that kind of "love" is way deeper and more intense than a sexual affair because you are more emotionally invested and are the best of friends. They just loved being together. It's too bad they neglect each others real love and put on a facade with the lame duck people they're married too, etc... Tom and Erica have a deep connection since 2004, that just doesn't go away.

they both definitely had something going on... that's why they pretend to be all awkward and sit far apart at the cons they're doing cuz when they're together their chemistry and personality really shines through. who are they trying to fool??? lol everyone knows they have amazing chemistry together. keri russell ditched her loser husband (who she had 2 kids with) cuz she knew he could never compete with matthew rhys, and those two just really complimented each other as people cuz they understand each other... erica is an idiot for staying with her old man husband... and looks like welling married some boring party girl. they clearly settled and it shows when they're with their spouses. one long time director from smallville said on podcast that tom & erica have lovely charisma together because tom really likes her and she so really likes him... and it's true, you can see it on and off screen. their personalities really shine when they're together, their spouses cant compete with that.

Hmm honestly there's alot of history and strong bonds that are made when you're working together on a show for so long... saw it playing out with a lot of actors. Tom and Erica definitely love each other but are not taking the chance to be with each other. You can tell they're both in loveless marriages -- the over the top declarations of love on social media about their spouses really hint at it and their respective spouses are very awkward and over bearing with them. It makes sense why a lot of actors who reconnect after so many freakin years realize they've been living lies. You can't stop real love. When you have a connection that doesn't ever go away. We're all humans, be with the people who truly make you happy.

Tom & Erica are legit in love with each other, you can tell. Their spouses can never compete! it's like when daniel craig & rachel weisz kept denying it for so many goddamn years. hell daniel was engaged and to be married & rachel was in a decades long relationship but they kept hiding their feelings for each other but eventually they got together & now they're finally happy. it's weird how actors are so afraid to feel true love, they're lame for pretending like living the normal life with some random person will make them happy when it never does. those feelings never go away. actors are brought in together to do all these crazy things together for such a long time you form a strong intimate partnership and you just became kind of a pair who fall in love. its a once in lifetime thing finding that person which is why actors end up in relationships, they just get each other like no one else can. alot of them stay in denial only for years down the road they finally get together.

these two def had something going on bts from her calling him tom in so many scenes I mean romatic scenes to tom calling her Erica in the ep rabid when they are in the rain and tom directed eps that had him kiss and caress and hold Erica and not to mention he always tongue kissed her and vice versa. I am getting a very brangelina vibe from these two. they def had an affair and kept it hush hush and that's why his wife left him by s9 and s10 cuz of that I presume. oh and In the scene from idol you can see tom wanting to hold ericas hand as they are fading away from the camera and in scenes from isis and harvest he touches her booty lol. yup something def went down between these two for sure

I do think they both had and still have feelings for each other till today but keeping that private to themselves . Know that Tom is going with Jessica a party girl and he can do better party girls are not good marriage people they like to be free and not tied down and they are immature people thinking only of themselves . Erica she is still with David and loves him and is having his baby due on January 31,2015 but she still has deep feelings for Tom if she wasn't with anyone than I am sure they would be together forever she is not a party girl she is stable in relationships or marriage situations and very responsible person and would be wonderful for Tom him and here are amazing together I wish they where together they make a beautiful couple together .

Tom has divorced his wife and has a new girlfriend: Jessica Lee Rose, Erica Durance lives with her husband, David P.. During Smallville There was a strong attrazione and Chemistry between Tom and Erica. , Erica would not leave her husband for fear of losing everything, money, house .But erica is still very much in love with Tom !He is a womanizer , spirit Free!
