Tennis ace Tomáš Berdych and his fiancée Ester Satorova said "I do" in front of 20 of their closest friends – a far cry from the 700 guests that reportedly attended Pierre and Beatrice's royal wedding.
The athlete and the model held their reception in the luxurious Le Méridien Beach Plaza in Monte Carlo, the city that Czech Republic-born Tomáš calls home. The hotel famously has its own private beach and served as the perfect venue for guests to rest and relax a few days before the 16 July wedding.
Tomáš and Ester married in a low-key ceremony in the town hall, where the bride ensured that all eyes were on her. The Czech beauty flaunted her model's figure in a barely-there floral lace gown, which drew attention to her statuesque legs and slender frame.
The haute couture gown was created by one of Ester's favourite designers, Lebanese Zuhair Murad, who regularly dresses celebrities for red-carpet events. Candice Swanepoel wore the same exquisite white gown in December 2014, when she attended a Victoria's Secret afterparty.
Keeping her make-up simple and letting her natural beauty shine through, Ester added just a pop of colour to her bridal look with a freshly painted red manicure. Tomáš, 29, looked dapper in a navy suit and tucked a few white flowers into his lapel.
The tennis player, who is currently ranked World No. 6 in the singles' titles, shared a picture on Twitter of the couple's new wedding rings, which he simple captioned "Speechless".
The bride followed suit and uploaded a sweet photo of herself and Tomáš on Instagram, which she captioned "My Husband and I".
