Moore (born May 9, 1950 in Lynwood, Aiken County, South Carolina) is a South Carolina businessman and former state politician who is now an executive of a payday lending association in Washington, D.C. Moore was the Democratic nominee for Governor of South Carolina in 2006, but lost to incumbent Republican Governor Mark Sanford.
