"Once upon a time, the Dallas Mavericks drafted two future superstars, Jim Jackson and Jason Kidd. That sports fairy tale wasn’t particularly a happy one, seeing as the teammates just couldn’t get along. The reason? Apart from said squabbles, both Kidd, 42, and Jackson, 44, reportedly dated singer Toni Braxton in the same time frame. As the story goes, Braxton, 48, allegedly checked into the Mavericks’ hotel to pick up Kidd for a date, but left with Jackson instead. While both ballers denied the incident, Braxton’s silence clearly spoke volumes."
