Tony Petersen (born October 9, 1966) is an American football coach and former player. He is the offensive coordinator at Appalachian State University, a position he has held since 2020. Petersen played college football as a quarterback at Marshall University, where he set 16 Southern Conference single-season and career records in passing and total offense, to go along with six Marshall single-season school marks.
