Travis Osborn Hanson (born January 24, 1981 in Seattle, Washington) is a former minor league baseball third baseman in the St. Louis Cardinals organization. He is currently an assistant coach at Marist Catholic High School in Eugene, OR. He was a great ball player being 7th on USA TODAY's St. Louis scouting report. One of his best game's probably came on May 3, 2005. The Springfield Cardinals were trailing 4-1 in the bottom of the 9th, When San Antonio's closer fell behind 3-1 in the count. Hanson hit a 3 run homer tying the game, and taking it to extra innings. The Cardinals picked up a nice 1 out double. San Antonio intentionally walked the next batter to bring up Hanson. Hanson hit walk off RBI (the hit was a single) to win the game. He won 3 awards in his stint in baseball: Texas League player of the week, May 3, 2005, Texas League mid season all-star, 2005 and Texas league post season all star, 2005.
