Tsuyoshi Yamaguchi (山口 壮, Yamaguchi Tsuyoshi, born October 3, 1954) is a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Aioi, Hyōgo and 1978 graduate of the faculty of law at the University of Tokyo, he joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1979 and received a Ph.D from SAIS at The Johns Hopkins University in the United States while an attache to the Embassy of Japan in Washington, D.C.
