Valeriy Ivanovych Kovtun (Ukrainian: Валерій Іванович Ковтун; born June 28, 1948) is a pedagogical college ex-director in Kolomyia (2001–2025), educator, deltiologist, local historian and editor. He is a member of National Union of Journalists of Ukraine since 2022 and also National Union of Local Historians of Ukraine since 2009.
