Vicente Palma is the son of Jorge Palma, named after a friend of his father's from Ireland, who was a musician in Paris at the same time as his father and who was a regular part of the Paris musicians bar called Le Mazet (it no longer has that function) and where many musicians went on to become recording artists, such as Peadar Melinn of Razzmatazz, Richard H. Jones (EMI & Encantado Music-album 'Nightfall'), Paul McGovern of Miss Thing/The Phantom Orchestra, Sebastian Walton, Simon Murley & Mick Blake of Street Boys, Alan Kelly & Pascal Segard (album 'Voila'), Mox Gowland of New Hokum Sheiks, Chikara Tsuzuki (album 'Delight'). Vicente Palma is a singer and piano player. He contributed the track "Para Rosalía" to a CD compilation paying tribute to the musician Adriano Correia de Oliveira.
