Socialites Virginia Fair McCullloch and Bertrand L. Taylor III married on April 27, 1946. Bertrand served in WWII where he served as a gunnery officer on two destroyers. After he arrived home, he married Virginia. According to the NY Times wedding announcement, the couple planned to go to Mexico for a month, then to Martha's Vineyard, Mass., for the summer, and subsequently would reside in New York. After the marriage, Vogue pegged Virginia as a society beauty and she frequently modeled for them as such. Virginia and Bertrand split sometime in the 1950's and he went on to marry several more times. It's unclear what happened to Virginia after she stopped modeling for Vogue in the late 1950's.
