Vladimir "Vlada" Petrić (March 11, 1928 – November 13, 2019) was an eminent theoretician, historian and aesthetician of cinema, a professor at Harvard University and co-founder of the Harvard Film Archive. Professor Petrić was the first scholar to receive a doctoral degree in film studies in the United States at New York University in the Department of Cinema Studies.
