Wang Chao (Chinese: 王超; born April 1960) is a Chinese diplomat and politician who served as president of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs from 2019 to 2025. He previously held several key positions within China's foreign affairs and commerce systems, including vice minister of foreign affairs and vice minister of commerce. Wang is currently a member of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress and vice chairman of its Foreign Affairs Committee.
