Wilfred Stanley Haines (1905 - 19 June 1944) was an English fireman and painter. Haines was inspired by the romanticist work of J. M. W. Turner, and gained notoriety for his paintings of scenes of London and Bath during the Blitz while on his watch post. Wilfred was also in Bath during Haines was killed at his watch-post in June 1944 as a result of a V-1 flying bomb attack on Southwark, London.
