William Joseph Stanhope (16 November 1986 – 23 April 2026) was a Canadian rock climber and professional rock-climbing guide. He was known for his first ascents on difficult trad climbing routes. Stanhope died in a 2026 climbing accident. At the time of his death, he was struggling with alcohol abuse and was facing nine criminal charges.
