Xu Yuanchong (simplified Chinese: 许渊冲; traditional Chinese: 許淵冲; pinyin: Xǔ Yuānchōng; born April 18, 1921 in Jiangxi, China) is a translator, best known for translating Chinese ancient poems into English and French. He has been a professor at Peking University since 1983.
