Miao Ying (simplified Chinese: 苗颖; traditional Chinese: 苗潁; pinyin: Miáo Yǐng; born 1985) is an internet artist and writer, best known for her projects around the Chinese internet and online culture inside the Great Firewall.
Her work highlights the attempts to discuss mainstream technology and contemporary consciousness and its impact on people's daily lives, along with the new modes of politics, aesthetics and consciousness created during the representation of reality through technology.
