Louis Yves Fortier, PC, CC, OQ, QC, Ad.E. (born September 11, 1935), is a Canadian diplomat, trial and appellate lawyer, arbitrator and corporate director. He served as the Canadian Ambassador to the United Nations from August 1988 to December 1991. In August 2013, he became a member of the Security Intelligence Review Committee and the Queen's Privy Council for Canada.
He also served as the national president of the Canadian Bar Association in 1982-1983.
