Abu Yahya Zakariya' ibn Muhammad al-Qazwini (أبو یحیی زکریاء بن محمد القزویني) or Zakarya Qazvini (Persian: زکریا قزوینی) (1203–1283) was a Persian physician, astronomer, geographer and writer of Arab ancestry. He belonged to a family of jurists originally descended from Anas bin Malik (a companion of the prophet Muhammad) which had long before settled in Qazvin.
