Miroslav Cerar Jr. (known as Miro Cerar born 25 August 1963) is a Slovenian lawyer and politician who has been the 8th Prime Minister of Slovenia since 18 September 2014. With a non-political background and as one who was relatively new to politics at the time of his appointment as Prime Minister, Cerar leads the centrist Modern Centre Party, formerly named eponymously the Party of Miro Cerar.
