Oddly enough, you`ll get no argument from lots of us here :) DT is one of those men who has really grown more and more delicious the older he`s become and I think it may owe something to him being more confident of how he and his talent are appreciated and valued. An aura of success really does give a good person [not one who is arrogant and egotistical] a kind of glow about them, imo.

Since when do papps ask permission first? Both the V and the Halloween pics were papp shots, not posed. Yes clearly GM does not mind her son being in the public eye, but DT is very private and GM has always respected his wishes in that respect.

Oh do give it a rest.Yeah Georgia is so private that her son has appeared in magazine articles and in videos on websites. Puh-lease. How on earth would a plastic mask stop them her from being recognised anyway? Some of you people sound extraordinarily stupid.

Oh I couldn`t care less what your name is. Do go away.. My main point was the fact your are talking s***. And don`t tell me to piss off. Moronic. And Lucy, I think if you`re talking about ruining a wedding..nothing does that like having it filmed for a reality TV game show.

I don`t think we can judge that TV show until its aired and seen how many times GM, her son and maybe DT if he was there, are glimpsed on screen. It may be filmed but you never know they might have asked if footage containing her son, DT or GM are not focused upon. Until you`ve seen the programme and know what was aired only then can you make a judgement. And you can`t blame GM for participating either: who would want to ruin their own mother`s wedding day by not going along with their wishes? I wouldn`t.

Colin you`re an idiot. Of course everyone has a right to comment. It`s not as if someone has sneaked in a camera to their wedding..theyre putting it on TV for **** sake. Of course people have a right to comment, theyve put it on TV for everyone to watch . Fool.

Oh grow up Colin for christ`s sake. Pathetic attempts at defending a vile reality show..it`s pitiful. Putting one`s wedding on show for the public, particularly for the sake of a reality game show is awful. If you dispute that, well then it says volumes about you. You sound idiotic and childish. I have seen a previous episode of the show. None since - It`s appalling. No I shan`t be watching but that does not make the show any less pitiful. I don`t think it`s necessary to see the episode to be aghast at the very idea. So give it up ..honestly. You parade yourself on reality T.V - you ask for attention by definition. Sunny - I completely agree.

If you choose to put your private life on display, especially on reality TV, you open yourself up to being judged sadly.

Charlie Don`t be so quick to judge people or their motivations. You don`t know anyone involved and don`t have any right to comment. If you think it`s that awful then don`t watch and keep your mouth shut. Of course the sad thing is you will watch and still slag them all off!

Come off it Amiable, I`d ask you to watch it so you know what you`re talking about first, then come back and try and give a positive reason for appearing on something so dreadful, mean spirited and crass.

You could choose to exercise discretion by choosing not to watch programs you don`t approve of. Then you wouldn`t have to judge the actions of persons you don`t know personally. Simple, really. You and nobody else here can claim any knowledge of SD`s reasons for becoming involved in this tacky wedding show. Nor can anyone here claim to know what GM thinks of it. As I`ve said before here, family relationships and the dynamics between family members are massively complicated and not evident to most people outside the family. Just because something is on the tele does NOT give viewers the right to act all holier than thou, even if lots of people no longer seem to have any idea of what is appropriate behaviour towards others, including those persons we don`t know except via the media.

Well, of course we are going to be moralistic about it. If someone is going to put themselves `out there` to that extent then they are going to be judged for it. You can give GM a pass as much as you like, that`s your opinion. Mine is far more recoiled at any involvement with shows like that. And the parading weddings around OK/Hello is another thing I cannot stand. Nothing seems sacred in the pursuit of attention any longer.

Well, you`re all very moralistic about the event, I must say. I agree that the whole reality tv wedding is tacky to the max but as there are the dynamics of a real family involved in the matter, whose relationships and motivations we can only speculate about, I`m willing to give GM a pass for her and her son`s involvement. When the program is viewed, that involvement may be a lot less screentime than you anticipate.

Exactly Nicola, it`s all to help SD flagging career. Sure she`s his grandmother, but show a little respect to her daughter and pull the plug on the thing. Go and get wed in privacy like everyone else.

Erm..Aimable- It may not be unusual to have your Grandson involved in your wedding, what is unusual is to turn it into a media circus for the sake of a reality T.V gameshow and invite desperate strangers to score your day.. That`s the unusual part.

Ugh, that is complete nonsense. It`s deluded to think the press are going to care less whether GM was there or not. By definition, appearing on that show says you are hardly big news in the media world. Have you actually seen this programme? It`s completely atrocious and EVERYTHING is seen. So while it may not be impossible for DT to hide from the cameras, it would make life very difficult, so I would hope that he would avoid it completely. You`re certainly easily pleased if you admire her for being involved.Do you admire her for being in `hello` magazine with it too? These are all things which could have been avoided, as could having your son seen on TV. It`s not a question of whether he would `get over it`. It`s a question of not having children seen int the press, but most certainly not is such a mean spirited and crass excuse for a show.

Why should GM say no? The boy is the bride`s grandson. I can see why grandma would like him to be there in an official role. It`s not uncommon. OK, the reality tv series is tacky [or else, imo it is] but as the family is not A List, and as you say, the press isn`t all that interested, what`s the harm? The child will get over it, I`m sure!

She could easily have attended and supported her mother`s marriage but said no to her son giving the bride away and avoided talking to the cameras. They are hardly A List and I doubt the press cares. The press have pretty much ignored the whole wedding/reality show thing apart from SD herself doing a couple of interviews to promote it.

You can`t have it both ways, Alice. You can`t present the case for all opinions to be tolerated and then call a poster`s comment `preaching` and `pompous` because you don`t respect his/her opinion. AFAIC, I can`t stand reality programs and this wedding thing seems to be tacky on so many levels. But I respect GM for standing by her mum`s choice. Imagine what the media could have done with any hint of dysfunction between them over the matter. DT could well have been there but he can choose not to have any pics of himself published in the press. [That`s a perk of being one of the UK`s most bankable and talented actors. Every photo published of media events such as these are subject to contract and agreement.]

Rubbish.. that TV show is revolting and if she felt strongly enough about it she could have surely had some say. It`s hardly being protective of privacy, particularly with her son being seen on it. I`m sick of people being holier than thou. We all have opinions on people regardless of whether we `know` them or not. It`s human nature.. stop preaching to anyone who has a different one to yours it`s pathetically sycophantic and pompous.
