Just to make a point, a person is considered Hispanic if they have some Spanish ancenstry. Obviously, not all Hispanics are 100 pure Spanish. What Hispanics have in common is that they all have some Spanish roots. So you`re right that Antonio Moreno could be considered white since he`s full European Spanish, but being Spanish is what defines what a Hispanic person is.

Antonio Moreno also starred in silent films; The Three Sevens, Mare Nostrum (our sea), My American Wife, IT starring the lovely Clara Bow, the "IT" girl. A fun flapper film from 1927. Antonio Moreno also starred in The Temptress with Greta Garbo and many, many other silent films. He acted in both American and Spanish films, and was himself a director.
