To sweetgal17. Just seen your post from 2017. Susan Robertson has written an autobiography entitled Bucking Hollywood about Dale. She asked me to write a note at the end of the book which, of course, I did!. Look it up on Amazon and you'll see my notes about the major errors in the book due to poor editing by the Publisher. Susan now has a webpage on Facebook.

My husband & I live in Yukon,Ok and have always been fans of his. We watch his "TALES OF WELLS FARGO" SHOW MON-FRI ON THE ENCORE WESTERN CHANNEL. WE ONLY FOUND OUT A MONTH AGO HE AND HIS WIFE HAD A RANCH HERE. IS THERE A WAY TO CONTACT SUSAN IF SHE IS STILL LIVING AND ABLE.

Hi Sandee. Dale has moved out of the nursing home to be with his wife once more. I'm afraid that I can't give his new address but I will copy your note and send it to them next time I write. Dale isn't very mobile now but I am sure he is delighted to be home with his wife again! I also love listening to Dale's CD. I was amazed to find that he sang so well and he told me that he had written two of the songs and contributed to a third.

Is there an update on Dale's health?
I hope that he and Susan are doing well.
I always send him a birthday card-where do I send it this year? Was he able to leave the nursing home?
I think of him daily and still listen to his CD every day.

hi any recent news on Mr Robertson at all?

Anne, I check this site every so often and copy what is new so I can send messages to Dale and his wife. I was really very lucky as a lady in Arizona suggested I fly from the UK to a Western Show in Scottsdale in 2001. At the same time, I contacted Dale's website, no longer running, to tell them of errors. Dale's wife replied and thus started an email relationship. She warned Dale that I would be going to the Festival so when I arrived, he knew who I was! I then went to 4 more festivals until the last one in 2004 and was able to help him out on his stall, taking his money while he signed autographs. He stopped using his computer after his heart operation in 2005 so I now keep in contact with his wife. The amazing thing for me was the fact that his character was so much like his character on Tales of Wells Fargo so I knew him pretty well. Cheers, Jeannine

As I said in my recent posting, I have loved Dale since 1951, I came to Toronto, Canada in1957 and brought 1000 (one thousand) photos of him I had( collected over the years, some with his signature, photos that I had sent for (before I left Glasgow, Scotland). I have just recently got a computer and look him up often, I only found out tonight from reading this section hat he is not well, I am sad about that. Maybe I might hear from someone, thank you

I don't think Dale will EVER be forgotten.Too many great childhood memories. I still think his best movie was "A day of fury" He was REAL baddd in that

Judy, Dale doesn't sign autographs anymore and his wife returns all written requests straight back to the senders. Dale has various medical problems now and can no longer hold a pen properly. However, I have copied your email and will post it to Dale when I write this week. I am sure he will be happy to know that you have not forgotten him. Jeannine
