Dustin Glenn Poirier (born January 19, 1989) is an American professional mixed martial artist, who is currently signed to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), in which he competes in the Lightweight division. He is a former interim UFC Lightweight Champion. A professional competitor since 2009, Poirier has competed in the WEC as well as the UFC. As of August 31, 2020, he is #2 in the UFC lightweight rankings and #8 in the UFC men's pound-for-pound rankings.
