I remember reading on the web about a young woman who picked up a copy of Eddie Fisher's biography, "Been There, Done That". She had no idea who he was but as she began looking through the book, she realized this man had been married to Debbie Reynolds and Liz Taylor, in the same lifetime, she said with amazement. Naturally she bought the book to find out who this guy really was. When you stop to think about it, you realize very few men ever get this lucky, not even Richard Burton.

This is in reguards to WDW I Have searched high and low looking for anything that would confirm that Eddie Fisher and Natalie Delon had a relationship or even an encounter and came up with zero! I do find one thing about the whole thing Rich Burton destoryed his marriage to Elizabeth Taylor, Nathalie was a step in Burton`s and Taylors marriage end. Burton had affair with her in 1973 while filming Bluebeard .

He could sing. He was so damn good-looking especially when he smiled. He cldnt just sing, he was the BEST. My mom said he was her favorite b/c he sang a song the way it was written. I want to know if it is possible to read anything about Barbara. Wasn`t that his last wife? I`d LOVE to just ask her questions about her life with Eddie Fisher. I don`t see her name anywhere. I know I didn`t imagine it.

Eddie Fisher had the best voice of any of the 50`s singers. WHAT A VOICE. I have many of his Coke Times on Tape and they are thrilling to watch. What a talent.

Why is it that so many people feel so committed to insulting Eddie. Calling him a squirt, a loser, an excuse for a man. Eddie lived a life that his detractor can only dream of. How could a loser who was born poor in the slums of Philadelphia, become a player on the world stage. How could a loser be making millions of dollars a year before the age of twenty three. Debbie Reynolds didn`t think he was a loser when she married him. Liz Taylor didn`t throw respectability to the winds when she stoled him from Debbie because she thought he was a loser. Coca cola didn`t think he was a loser when they paid him a million a year to be their spokesman.Millions of adoring fans didn`t think he was a loser either. Eddie`s biggest problem was that he got hooked on speed to maintain his exhausting shedule. But in the end he showed his strength by quitting drugs and finally meeting the right woman.

I always wished that he had not been involved with my two favorites actresses. I did collect his records thru 1956. I wish them all happiness now.

Just finished reading Frank Sinatra`s biography written by his man servant, George Jacobs. George knew Eddie quite intimately, because of his job with Sinatra. He stated that Eddie had an enormous need to sleep with every woman he could even if he had just gotten out of bed with Lis Taylor. It is not well known and I`m sure Lis never guessed that Eddie was sleeping around on her.

People always fault Eddie for leaving Debbie for Liz,but he`s the one who had to live with Debbie. They were not compatible. Both Eddie and Debbie felt compelled to marry each other because the publicity about their romance had reached a fever pitch in the country. It could have been disasterous for both their careers, had they not married. I know it sounds strange that this could happen, but it was the 1950`s, people still believed in true love. You could not dissapoint your fans. Eddie realized too late that Debbie was not his type. I like Debbie but she could be a little on the phony side. Eddie was basically a nice guy who didn`t deserve the treatment he got from Debbie or Liz. In his autobiography, Eddie states that if he had known in the beginning, how his love affair with Liz was going to turn out, he still would not have hesitated for a minute, to fall in love with her. She was the great love of his life. He states that she was never really a wife but she was his great love.

To be sure, Eddie was no He-man, but there was something about him that was very reassuring to women. I guess they felt very comfortable around him. He might not have dated all these women, some he was just friends with, but over all he had love affairs with most of these women and more. The producer, Robert Evans saw the affair beginning between Eddie and Nathalie Delon, and couldn`t believe his eyes, but it was true. She left Alain Delon for Eddie. Also, Eddie had a lot of money. He was earning a million dollars a year from his tv show, Coke time back in the early fifties, in addition to his record sales and nightclub performances. He had more money than Liz and Debbie put together.
