Its interesting to note that Georgette Minnelli had a sister, Christiane Magnani, who won the 1953 Miss Universe under the name of Christiane Martel. Georgette and Vincente had a daughter named Christiane, apparently for Georgette`s sister. Her sister became quite promient in Mexico has a screen actress, yet there had never been any mention of her. The daughter Christiane Nina Minnelli [born 1955] now lives in Mexico and has a line of fashion under the name of Liza Minnelli. Why has Liza never mentioned her half-sister? Or Miss Universe of 1953?
