I remember Jo from the early `70`s, when she was just breaking into the modelling scene. Her father, Howard Karslake was involved with Scooter-racing and I have a picture of Jo standing next to his scooter. I raced Scooters and I laso have a picture of her presenting me with a trophy in about 1973. She used her father`s christian name for her modelling work as it sounded better than Karslake. I`ll admit I fancied her at the time, but I thought I was too old for her - then she met Ronnie!

I thought it might be interesting to note that I discovered Jo Howard back in 1970/1, when her mother approached me and told me that Jo wanted to be a model. I ran test shots of her and took her to a top London Model Agency and the rest is history. She use to jokingly say, "I owe it all to Roger"
