After her career in Hollywood, in 1965, she moved to New York City where she became a interial decaretor until she died at the age of 50 in 1987. But I dont know how she died though :( No one knows in our family.

When I was a very young woman, I met a wonderful man named Floyd Simmons. He had a beautiful gray cat named Lily which he was crazy about. When I asked him how he came up with her name, he told me that he once had a girlfriend name Lily. Turns out it was Lili Kardell! He dated her when he first went to Hollywood after he had been in the olympics and was offered a contract from Universal. He became best buddies with Clint Eastwood and they lived in the same apartment complex. Clint, Maggie, Floyd, and Lily used to hang out together.I have a photo of the four of them together which Floyd gave to me. She was very beautiful.

Lili Kardell is my grandmothers cousin. Apparently they were like best friends and they kept in touch during Lilis whole lifetime until she died åt 1987. My grandmother still lives.
