(26 May 1994 - 18 January 1996) (divorced)
Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley married on May 26, 1994, in the Dominican Republic. The Dominican Republic is outside of the U.S. Way before Lisa Marie and Michael married, Elvis used to take Lisa to his see the Jackson 5 in Las Vegas when Michael had a concert with his brothers. That was the first time that they met each other. Many years later, they were reconnected through a mutual friend in November, 1992.
Although Presley was still married to her first husband, she used to tell Jackson the marriage wasn't working and he started to send her flowers, candies, letters, etc. They began to have an affair since 1992/1993, so Presley was there all along when the molestation accusation began.
On January 18, 1996, Jackson filed for divorce (although Presley always said she did it), it was finalized on August 20, 1996, but they still had an on-off relationship for 4 years later.
Lisa Marie Presley said in her own words that it was "a married couple's life... that was sexually active."
said she was obsessed with him after they divorced, and that she was
following him through those years. Four years after the divorce, they were still in love, they broke up and then they fell in love again through those 4 years, still even when Jackson proposed to Rowe -the mother of two of his children-, and married her.
Presley wrote lots of songs about Jackson and their relationship, the most obvious ones called 'Just a dream', 'I was wrong', 'Over me' - A song about Debbie and Jackson, ('Storm and Grace' album).
Jackson was rumoured to have written 'Don't walk away', '2000 Watts' and 'Breaking Dawn' ('Invincible' album) about his first wife.
