Alexander Martin Clunes OBE DL (born 28 November 1961) is an English actor, television presenter, film director and comedian. He is best known for portraying Martin Ellingham in the ITV drama series Doc Martin and Gary Strang in Men Behaving Badly. Clunes has narrated a number of documentaries for ITV, the first of which was Islands of Britain in 2009. He has since presented a number of documentaries centred on animals. He has also voiced Kipper the Dog in the animated series, Kipper.

Loved you show on the Mantias. I watch you on Doc Martin 2x a week on PBS. Never get tired after all these years. Love seeing the other, more tender side of you though and your love for animals, especially the "kisses".

I am just loving the "other" programmes which Martin is making - horses, dogs and now very much love the way he has done the Islands around the UK. I am hoping that the Isle of Wight will be included as I was born there, but now having lived in 10 different places of the UK, now have and intend to stay in Dorset until my time comes to go to my heavenly home! that is philippa in the photo on the right.
She is on the KCET "behind the scenes" of series 5 with her husband Martin Clunes. They are not sitting together but she has on a red top. Check it out. There are not many photos of her but if you read the 12/12/12 article in the Mirror, called "Iam to odd looking to play a romatic lead" you will see a photo of Martin and his wife Philippa.
He looks great and she looks just like she does on the photo above only a little older. That is her so I do not know the last time you saw her, but that is his lovely wife.
