Matthew Duchene (born 16 January 1991) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre who currently plays for the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League (NHL). He has previously played in the NHL for the Colorado Avalanche, Ottawa Senators, and Columbus Blue Jackets. Duchene was selected third overall by the Avalanche in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. He won a gold medal with Canada at the 2014 Winter Olympics.
