Matthew Richard Lucas (born 5 March 1974) is an English actor, comedian, and writer. He is best known for his work with David Walliams on the BBC sketch comedy series Rock Profile (1999–2000, 2009), Little Britain (2003–2007, 2020), and Come Fly With Me (2010–2011). Lucas also played Nardole in the BBC sci-fi series Doctor Who (2015-2017), and has appeared in films such as The Infidel (2010), Alice in Wonderland (2010) and its 2016 sequel, Bridesmaids (2011), and Small Apartments (2012).
