Shawn Steel (born c.) is the Republican National Committee Member from California since 2008. He was voted by his colleagues to the Executive Committee of the Republican National Committee in 2018. Steel served as Sergeant at Arm at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio in 2016. In 2012 he served as Deputy Permanent Co-Chairmen of the Convention. He was elected as Chairman of the California Republican Party from 2001-2003.
