Rising to fame for directing comedies, Feng played a pivotal role in shaping the Chinese New Year films, with films such as Dream Factory (1997), Be There or Be Square (1998), Sorry Baby (1999), Big Shot’s Funeral (2001), Cell Phone (2003), and the film series If You Are the One (2008–2023), all starring Ge You.
