Really a cool dude. Played in a lot of good character roles

I really enjoy his acting. I just purchased 'Blondie Johnson' starring Joan Blondell, and seeing him play the character he did really changed my view on him.

I never really saw the Boston Blackie movies when younger. I now watch them on Sundays and really enjoy them. As the saying goes the goood old days

during the early 40`s always enjoyed a Chester Morris movie, especially the "Boston Blackie" movies, with the Runt and Farraday, etc. He was always, colorful and very entertaining. He was part of the times; now this or his character seems rather dated?
