I have read that Katherine Hepburn considered McCrea Hollywood`s most underrated actor. She considered him as good an actor as Tracy, Grant

Mr. mcCrea is a wonderful, natural actor. It`s a shame most people don`t know about him today. He`s a wonderful actor. And he`s a VERY sweet, kind, gentle man. He`s like a ray of sunshine. He`s a wonderful man, father and actor. He`s my hero, my idol, my rolemodel. God rest your soul Mr. McCrea. Rest in peace!!!
